SNOWLAND
Snowland is the first indoor snow park in the Americas, located in the municipality of Gramado, in the Serra Gaúcha. It was conceived by the brothers Caliari - André, Anderson and Daiane - and inaugurated on October 25, 2013.
The park has 16 thousand square meters, with 8.1 thousand m² dedicated to the magic of snow.
Visitation capacity is up to 3.5 thousand people per day, about one million per year. The park shares its attractions in two environments:
Snow Mountain: Space for snow fun with attractions such as skiing and snowboarding.
Alpine village: an environment that goes back to the Swiss valleys, with a commercial mini-center and attractions such as skating and 7D cinema.
With a 15-meter mountain, equivalent to a 5-storey building, Snowland presented the world with snow in a fun and friendly way, with a climate that goes back to the Swiss villages in the middle of the Sierra Gaúcha for 365 days a year.
Faced with success, the park has increased the number of attractions, making even more dreams of adults and children who, more accessible, can play in the snow whenever they want. Recently some attractions have been launched: Motoneve, Bumper Car, 7D Ski Simulator, archaeological dig (space for photo souvenir) and SnowClub (membership club) .
Another highlight of Snowland Park, plus the guaranteed fun, is the park's fully automated check-in and check-out system, in the form of a wristwatch, allowing easy access to all visitors. Just approach the clock in the ratchet that the release happens instantaneously. The technology is also for shopping in restaurants and additional attractions in the park, which add up to the amount paid at the end of the tour.
The dream of offering snow in Gramado, with fun and attractions for the whole family, is the essence of the park. Since the opening there has been concern about accessibility, thus enabling people with disabilities to enjoy themselves without any restrictions.
