GRUMARI
Do you like surfing and a breathtaking view of nature? So your place is at Grumari Beach. Decreased Environmental Protection Area (APA) in 1987, the beach is a preserved sanctuary, which also has Prainha, another classic point of surfing. It is there that is the Kiosk of Rico Surf and where are produced great annual championships of the sport, always with many beautiful people and passionate about nature.
Separated from Macumba Beach by a hill, you arrive at Grumari Beach by car, but during the week it is quite deserted, relying only on the aficionados of the sport. As the strong waves crash at the bottom of the beach, there is a large shallow end where only the little ones arrive, which attracts entire families on weekends, making the great demand make the traffic unbearable, since the road is narrow and the traffic jam it's long. The very clean, transparent waters with perfect waves and the exuberant nature make this one of the most beautiful beaches in the state, being very used as a rental of photos and scenarios for soap operas and commercials.
In the left corner of Grumari Beach, which is only 3 km long, is the Praia do Abricó, reserved for naturism, with just under 1 km, but nudism itself is limited to a stretch of 300m protected by rocks. Being an APA, the infrastructure is small, but it has efficient service.
