FISCAL ISLAND
Stage of the last ball of the Empire, six days before the Proclamation of the Republic, on November 15, 1889, Fiscal Island, in neo-Gothic style, inaugurated 125 years ago, tells part of the history of the country and the Navy and offers a special weekends.
Designed by the engineer Adolpho Del Vecchio, the building is inspired by a typical 14th century castle in the French town of Auvergne, and was listed by the State Institute of Cultural Heritage (Inepac) and the town hall in 1990.
