It is the most famous, glamorous and most charming hotel in Brazil. It retains the imposing classic style of its foundation in 1923, even after the extensive renovation of 2012. Also intact, the refinement, the formal service and the traditional flaming flags that make it inevitable to think of all the history that the Copa holds. This is where names such as Nelson Mandela, Orson Welles and Walt Disney (who would have created the character Zé Carioca in one of the lounges of the hotel).
